Rigatoni alla Sorrento

Serves: 8 people

Ingredients

Della casa sauce

  • 2 sliced garlic cloves
  • 1 pound of rigatoni
  • 1 tbsp. of olive oil
  • 1 packet of ground Italian sausage
  • 1 tbsp. of cherry peppers
  • 1 tbsp. of parmesan
  • cheese
  • 1 liter of water
  • A pinch of salt and pepper (as needed)

Instructions

  1. In a pan, cook the garlic slices, sausage, and cherry peppers until caramelized brown in olive oil on high heat.
  2. Meanwhile in a pot, boil water on high heat, add rigatoni for 10 minutes or until al dente and stir occasionally.
  3. When step 1 is ready, mix della casa sauce in and let it simmer on high heat.
  4. Once the rigatoni is ready, mix it in the sauce mixture and serve.
  5. Add parmesan cheese as garnish and buon appetito.

  • Della casa sauce
  • 1 packet of diced jam
  • ½ a white onion(diced)
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1 cup of green peas
  • 1 pound angel hair
  • 1 liter of water

Instructions

  1. In a pan, melt the butter and add the jam, onions, and green peas until caramelized brown.
  2. Meanwhile in a pot, boil water on high heat, add angel hair for 5 minutes or until al dente and stir occasionally.
  3. When step 1 is done, mix in the della casa sauce and simmer on high heat
  4. Once angel hair is al dente, add it in with the sauce mixture and serve. Buon appetito.
